The Modern Pentathlon World Cup Final 2005 was held in Uppsala, Sweden, 20-21 August. Modern Pentathlon consist of shooting, fencing, swimming, ridning and running. The athletes came from China, Belarus, Germany , Hungary, Latvia, Lithuania, Mexico, Russia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom Ukraine and other countries.

The is the final picture I will post from the World Cup Final. Like all others it is taken during the riding for men. I am almost sure that the young woman to the right is one of the female athletes (Women’s final took place the day before). She said in English to a friend take a photo of me when the horse kisses me. I could not resist to take a photo too. My guess that the girl with a riding helmet comes from the nearby riding school. She and some other girls took care of the horses.
